Seasons 1-2 (2019-2021)
Season 1 (2019-2020) ran 10 movies plus a wrap episode. It mostly consisted of what Scott and Julian thought of as some of the best sci-fi films. Season 2 (2020-2021) expanded to 12 movies plus a wrap episode. It mostly consisted of movies Scott and Julian thought of as fun. Bonus episodes included Planet of the Apes, Flash Gordon, and a block of Watchmen episodes, all rerun from the 20th Century Geek podcast.

Season 3 (2021-2022)
At 19 episodes plus 2 wrap episodes, Season 3 was longer than the previous two seasons. This season included many movies that either Scott or Julian hadn't seen yet. Originally, the 1950s episodes were going to be a second inter-season block (following the Westworld block), but they were merged with the regular season. Bonus episodes included Dune, Part One; four Terry Gilliam movies (three of which were rerun from the 20th Century Geek podcast); and the then-new live-action Cowboy Bebop TV series.

Season 4 (2022-2023)
For this season, the episode count was expanded to 24 episodes and 2 wrap episodes, taking a full year of biweekly serialization (run alongside biweekly episodes covering Twilight Zone season 1). This season included earlier movies than ever before and included 6 episodes that were connected to (e.g. sequels to) movies from past seasons. For the first time, bonus episodes appeared on Patreon; all of these were related to regular episodes. Additional bonus episodes (released on the main feed and on 20th Century Geek) covered Jupiter Ascending, the short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale" and its two adaptations (as Total Recall), and Dune, Part Two.
